Risk Management Position @ Southwest Grain
- Available for the Southwest Grain trade area of SW North Dakota & NW South Dakota. This position will report to the General Manager of SWG.
Resposiblities:
- Manage company risk primarily on crop inputs such as fertilizer and refined fuels.
- Delevopment & implemenatation of risk management tools for agricultural producer customers of SWG
- Must understand hedging risk and risk management tools utilizing futures and options contracts, must understand all grain contracts and logistics.
- Candidate will back up the Grain Marketing group and should understand hedging of all grain commodities.
- Must have the ability to work alone or with a wide variety of the SWG management team and a very diverse group of agricultural producers in the trade area.
Must Have:
- 5 years of experience in the field of Agriculture and a 4 year degree in an Ag related field is a plus.
- Must have a Series III broker license or the have the ability to obtain the same.
